
HCS Transportation: Due to the excessive rain and possible debris on the roads tomorrow morning buses will only go on roads that are safe to travel on. Please check the Hawkins County website for bus routes changes. We will try to update as information comes in regarding unsafe roads.

Due to the threat of potential high wind and thunderstorms, the Second Harvest Food Distribution scheduled for today has been moved to next Thursday April 18. The distributions will be scheduled for the same times at Cherokee and Volunteer High School. There is no need to reregister. If you have any questions, please contact the Family Resource Center at 272-7629 ext. 2056

Class group pictures will be tomorrow, Thursday, April 4th. The cost is $10. Also, 5th grade students who would like to make-up cap/gown pictures may do so tomorrow as well.

The 3rd 9 weeks ended last Friday, March 8th. Report cards were sent home with students today. Please review these, sign them, and return to your child's teacher once we return from Spring Break.

Hawkins County School District is excited to offer Summer Learning Camps again this summer for our students who will be Rising 1st-9th graders. Summer Learning Camp will take place for four weeks, four days a week, between May 28 - June 20 from 7:30 - 2:30 p.m. This camp is part of the Tennessee Learning Loss Remediation and Student Acceleration Act (SB7002/HB7004) and will focus on rising 1st-grade students through rising 9th-grade students. Priority students identified by T.C.A. 49-6-3115 will be prioritized for enrollment in Summer Camps. Parents will be notified of acceptance before the start of summer camp. Transportation will be made available daily. Breakfast and lunch will be served as part of the program
