Parents and students, with the passage of TN HB 932/SB 897, Hawkins County Schools will comply with this state law and prohibit use of wireless communication devices during the instructional day at all campuses. Please be aware that students may have their devices at school but may not use them while on campus during instructional time. Students who use their devices to monitor medical conditions will be allowed access to their devices as specified in their health plans. In the event of an emergency, students may access their devices as appropriate. Thank you for your understanding and for your support in keeping our campuses safe and focused on instruction.
