This is a reminder that the second session of Say Boo! to Bullying will be held tomorrow morning at 7:15 if you missed the one tonight. I hope to see you there!
Mrs. Barker

Mark your calendars and join us on Friday, November 7 for our Annual Fall Festival!

Black out for Black House. Please join us in wearing black this Friday, October 24th to support House Altruismo. Altruismo is the House of Givers. The central power of Altruismo members is empowering others, true strength comes from looking beyond oneself to lift up others. Their animal is the Snake, known for striking a balance between bold strength and altruistic giving. The crest features a heart (for kindness, generosity, and purity) and a diamond on a shield (for protecting others with unity and wisdom).

We are so excited to use the new House Points App to track points! All students have a profile with their picture, and it is time to update them! If you have a house shirt please wear it tomorrow. If you don’t have one, please try to wear a solid house colored shirt. Look for instructions on downloading the App to come home soon if they haven't already. If you have any questions, you can message Mrs. Barker.

House Party Fun! We had a blast at our House Party before Fall Break. We had a dance off, played six corners, musical dots, Wizards Giants & Elves, and a faculty vs. house leaders volley ball game!

As we begin the 2nd nine weeks, with only 44 days completed if your child has missed more than 4 days of school they are on track to become chronically absent. If you're unsure about your child's attendance, please consult our school nurse or counselor. They can provide guidance and support to ensure your child's success in school.

Parents and caregivers,
You are invited to join Mrs. Barker for a discussion about bullying and conflict resolution on the evening of October 21st from 5:00-6:00 p.m. A second session will take place the following morning at 7:15 for those who were unable to attend the evening session.

Dear Parents,
In the weeks following Fall Break students will be attending personal safety lessons in Guidance class. I wanted to give a little insight into what these lessons entail. We will be learning about the importance of recognizing unsafe situations and telling an adult about those unsafe situations. We will learn that private parts are the parts covered by your bathing suit and no one should touch those parts, except to keep you healthy. We will also learn ways to refuse unwanted touches. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to me on Rooms, by phone, or email. Email:amanda.barker@hck12.net

St. Clair Parents! Check out this flyer for Christmas for the Children if you think you may need help with Christmas this year. Please note that the deadline is November 12th.

Tired of wondering if your child's excuse note made it to school? 🤔
We're excited to introduce a new digital attendance form you can access right from our school website or mobile app!
This new option helps ensure your excuse note gets to the right person right away. Watch the quick video linked below to see how easy it is to use on the app.
Remember, this is an optional new method—you can still send in a paper note to the office!

🥍✨Learning a new sport in PE! Tuesday and Wednesday we had an awesome time introducing lacrosse for the first time with some help from our friends at Greeneville lacrosse club (greenelax) and Tusculum university’s men’s lacrosse team (tusculummlax). The students learned new skills, building teamwork, and most importantly having fun!

This is just a reminder that picture day is tomorrow! These will be the pictures that go in the yearbook.

5th Grade field trip to TopGolf

College and Career Week Photo Booth. We have a big variety of educational experiences and degrees across our St. Clair faculty and staff; we've got associate, bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as multiple extra endorsements. Many, if not most, of our faculty worked on and acquired their advanced degrees while working full time! We have representation from colleges across Tennessee including ETSU, Tusculum, Walter's State, Carson Newman, Tennessee Tech, and MTSU to name a few. Thank you to everyone who participated in last week's College and Career Week activities!

We have the winners of the College and Career Week scavenger hunt prize drawing! For career dress up day we had a dentist, veterinarian, doctor, Disney engineer, golfer, singer, football players, hair dresser and an astronaut!

Here are a few of our College and Career Week activities from today and yesterday. Fifth grade had a great day visiting Tusculum University. We went on a nature trail with a biologist, toured the campus with a historian, did a scavenger hunt in the library and put on a play with the theater department. We even ran into a St. Clair alumni!
